Day 2 / Delhi - Agra
In the morning after
breakfast proceed for
sightseeing tour of Old &
New Delhi :
OLD DELHI - Places to see
there the Raj Ghat -
the memorial site where
Mahatma Gandhi was cremated;
Jama Masjid - the largest
mosque in India, Lal Quila
also known as Red fort -a
red stone monument which is
built by Shah Jahan.
NEW DELHI - Places to
see at New Delhi are
Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub
Minar, Rajpath, India
Gate, Parliament House, the
President's Residence, Lotus
Temple. Evening drive to
Agra & transfer to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 3 / Agra - Delhi -
Departure
In the morning after
breakfast sightseeing tour
of Agra :
TAJ MAHAL - Built by Shah
Jahan, the Taj is a white
marble memorial it's the
seventh wonder of the world
which is built by Shah Jahan
in the memory of his
beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal.
AGRA FORT - Fort built in
red sandstone with its
magnificent palaces, halls
of public and private
audience and the beautiful
gardens. This is where
Emperor Shah Jahan was kept
under house arrest by his
third son Aurangzeb and
spent the last year of his
life viewing the Taj Mahal
from across the river Jamuna.
Afternoon drive to Delhi &
transfer to airport to board
the onward flight.
