Day 1 / Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet Canter Tours representative at the Indira Gandhi
International airport & transfer to luxury hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 / Delhi
In the morning after delicious breakfast proceed to sightseeing of
Delhi visit the Qutab Minar, India Gate, Red Fort a red stone
monument built by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid the oldest mosque of
India, The Parliament House, President House, the grand government
buildings, Raj Ghat Mahatama Gandhi Memorial. Also visit Lotus
temple and Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple
overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 / Delhi- An Exclusive Indian Culinary Experience
In the morning after delicious breakfast. The Indian cuisine is as diverse as
its culture, languages, regions and its climate. Learn easy
delicious recipes. All classes will feature an entire meal from
"Appetizers to Dessert" and feature "hands-on recipes". So bring
your appetite and enthusiasm for a day of fun and enchantment. Some
of the Indian Dishes are:-
Palak Panir
Palak Panir sak contains finely chopped (sometimes pureed) spinach
and chiles along with various seasonings and fried cubes of cheese.
Dal Makhani
Split lentils cooked in thick cream sauce with spices and herbs.
Later
the classes come back to hotel. Evening at leisure. Nightstay at
Delhi.
Day 4 / Delhi - Agra ( By train )
In the morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to
board the superfast air-conditioned train to Agra. enjoy delicious
breakfast in the train. Arrive Agra in approx. 02 hours & transfer
to hotel. Later visit the Agra fort. Evening at sunset visit the
magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world this
white marble monument is built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his
beautiful wife Mumtaj Mahal. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 5 / Agra - Jaipur ( By Surface)
Early morning a second visit to Taj Mahal at sunrise, Later drive to
Pink City in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the
universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The
palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the
royal processions and splendours are now living monuments enroute
visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone ?ghost
town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built
in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Jaipur in
late evening & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 6 / Jaipur - Delhi ( By train Dep
1745 Hrs Arr 2230 Hrs )
In the morning after breakfast checkout from hotel & visit the
majestic Amber Fort, is one that cannot be easily described. Ride up
on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the
backdrop of the wooded hills. Later visit the City Palace, Palace of
Winds also known as Hawa Mahal and future merge at Jai Singh's
observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th
century. Evening transfer to railway station by Canter Tours
representative to board the air conditioned train to Delhi, Dinner
in the train. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 7 / Departure
Transfer in time to airport to board the onward flight. |
